When we first met Em and Greg Butler, they were struggling through a rare night out. For the parents of two young daughters, it was a special occasion and Em, in particular, wanted to make the most of it. She was keen to do something exciting and unusual, to feel desirable and desired. But, frankly, her suggestion of some fantasy role-play and a visit to a strip club left her hubby perplexed.
The intended enchanted evening did not go as hoped. Greg was not a comfortable role-player and he looked a bit too interested in one of the strippers. Em burst into frustrated tears and in the subsequent argument, fears and worries were revealed. Yet in spite of the date-night fizzer, it was clear that Greg and Em were still in love and easy to understand why they were together.
